A Diploma Dental Assistant Course of 2 years duration is a medium type of dental diploma course in Bangladesh. This course contains 18 subjects in 4 semesters. The 1st semester contains 5 subjects and 2nd semester contains 5 subjects.

Subjects of 1st and 2nd semesters:

Subjects of 1st semester are Human Anatomy & Physiology-1, Chemistry & Pharmacology-1, First Aid & Treatment, Hematology & Pathology, and Study of OTC Drugs. 2nd Semester contains Anatomy of the Head and Neck, Neuroanatmy & Physiology, Dental Anatomy & Physiology-1, Dental Pathology & Dental Caries-1, Conservative Dentistry & Dental Surgery-1.

Subjects of 3rd and 4th semesters:

3rd Semester contains Orthopedic Anatomy & Physiology, Cardiovascular Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology & Antimicrobial Drugs, And Dental Sterilization. The 4th semester contains Dental Anatomy & Physiology-2, Dental Pharmacology, Conservative Dentistry & Dental Surgery-2, And Clinical Practice in Dental Surgery-1.
